Applying for Swedish authorization

Before you are allowed to start working as a physician or as a nurse in Sweden, you have to apply for a Swedish authorization. This is issued by the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare ( Socialstyrelsen ). The application is free of charge for applicants with education from EU or Switzerland.  Further information about this you will find on the Internet www.sos.se
With your application you attach the following enclosures:

1. Diplomas, certificates or other evidence of formal qualification
2. Evidence of citizenship
3. Certificate of good standing
